Weaning novice alert - are food with sesame seeds okay?

My DD is just over six months and is eating a wide variety of finger foods and mashed stuff. I'd like to introduce more finger foods as she much prefers to feed herself - so I've bought her some rice cakes. I notice on the packet it says they're made in a factory with sesame seeds so potentially could have some in.
Not that I'm being overly cautious or anything (!) but is this okay? DH has allergies so I steered clear of peanuts whihle pregnant and b/f - but are sesame seeds okay? I know lots of people give their babies hummous but I just wanted to check! I did eat plenty of hummous myself while b/f and we didn't have any problems with that.
Thanks!

i think if you have a history of nut allergies then you should avoid them. they aren't a nut but people who are allergic to nuts are often allergic to seeds also.
