Broccoli

What can you do with broccoli when blw-ing, apart from giving it as steamed florets? Ds is not having any of it. Not that I have a problem with him disliking it, but I wonder if a bit of creativity would get him to see its merits... I have tried smothering it in Philly but he sucks that off and cries when he gets to the broccoli .

I either mash it up and then serve with cheese sauce or curry it with some onions and garlic (no chilli, just coriander cumin and fenugreek). Both methods work for spinach too

i do it in stir-fries with a bit of teryaki sauce. dd likes her broccoli on the overcooked side [bleh] so if you're doing it al dente i'd also suggest steaming it for a bit longer.

We have done a chunky style omlette before that goes down very well with varying veggies!

You could always chop it up and add it in that. My DD eating it

Or pancakes with veg cut into finger pieces.

Or properly chop it finely and add to pasta sauces or mash potato... i put spinach in mash and its is yummy! I call it bogey mash!

i add it to pasta sauces, omelettes, lasagne, veggie shepherd's pie (we call it allotment pie though!), or make it into broccoli and cauliflower cheese.
