Baby desserts

Can i ask what you give your baby for dessert. I make ds food for him but when it comes to pudding, it's usually alternated between yoghurt or a jelly. Feel as if I should be making homemade puddings too. Also, ds gets a pudding at lunch time but not sure whether to give him one at night as well. What do you think? (DS 9 months old)

Fruit, fruit, or fruit. Rice pudding or semolina if you're spoon feeding. No need for anything sugar packed at this age (or technically at any age!).

does he need to have pudding? dd just has fruit or yoghurt on fruit. and she usually has that as a starter rather than a pudding. fits in like that cos she eats her fruit while her dinner cools down.

he usually has fruit as a snack, taht's why I give a yoghurt or jelly at lunch. I suppose a dessert a lunchtime is enough. I'm always worrying how much to fes ds, especially now he's getting bigger.

DS Loves fruit custard or Petit Filous, it makes me laugh to see him opening his mouth in anticipation of the spoon

Dd has a fruit pot at lunchtime and yoghurt or fromage frais at tea time.

There is absoultely nothing wrong with giving yoghurts as it counts in with the daily milk requirement, and IMO is better than jelly.

We have fruit or plain yoghurt most days - rice pud or bread & butter pud on highdays & holidays!
