any advice on good first finger foods?

Have you seen the BLW blog? That has lots of ideas for first finger foods.

I am also new at this but so far in his first few days of solids ds has had steamed courgette in a chip shape/size. I cooked it till it was quite squashy cos I was feeling cautious. It was very successful! He's also had a floret of broccoli, again done so it is soft but firm enough for him to hold it without it falling apart.
