My ds is 9 months but as no-one else has appeared I can bore you with what he eats (more or less the same as it was a month ago). He has apple and blueberry (steamed and mushed a bit) for breakfast; a protein type lunch like cottage pie, or chicken curry, or fish with veg; his tea is usually a vegetable based thing like cous cous with veg or tomato pasta. He has a fruit pudding with lunch and tea too (I do cheat and buy pots of fruit stuff though )

ds just 8 mo - for breakfast he has one oatabix with fruit puree or banana mixed in, offered 7oz milk straight after - sometimes has it sometimes doesn't.

lunch is a big meal - something with protein in, fish in cheese sauce with veg or spag bol or beef stew then pudding of rice pudding with fruit puree mixed in or rusk or yoghurt

7oz bottle as mid afternoon snack

dinner - veg pasta or scrambled eggs or eggie bread, pudding of rusk (but not if he had one at luch) or rice cake or fruit

7oz bottle just before bed

have posted a 'not eating finger food' thread as was hoping to do finger food tea so we can all eat together in evening... sure he'll get the idea soon!

hope that helps? was there something you were worrying about?

dd is 8 months.

9am breakfast- fruit/cereal/banana on toast

11.30am lunch- sandwich/omelette/plain veg with cheese/bread with soup poured on top

2pm snack- fruit/toast if not had bread already/organix snack things/fruit

5pm tea- what we're having..pasta and veg/shepherds pie/lasagne/fish/veggie burgers/fish goujons etc etc

basically she has what i'm having, unless it's something like a ready meal then i give her plain veg and sprinkle cheese on top for example. or.. dh and i like fajitas but use a packet mix thing, so dd gets the tortilla wraps with cheese and peppers inside to make a quesadilla.

she also has milk 3 or 4 times a day.

Thanks for your replies - I thought no-one was going to reply!. I just wanted to put my mind at rest that I'm feeding my wee one enough. She doesn;t sleep for longer than 3 hours at a time during the night (Breast fed still). She is such a contented wee one during the day.
I guess I just wanted a wee bit of reassurance, and I've got that now.

All your replies are much appreciated,
Thanks !

has dd ever slept through night?

when i started weaning ds he went from sleeping 7-7 when 100% bf to waking earlier and earlier - cut out tomatoes (because they gave him sloppy nappies) and got him straight back to sleeping 7-7... probably not the same for you at all if she's contended during the day...
