Just that really, breakfast and evening meals are fine, but my lunches tend to be monotonous/unhealthy/non existant so need ideas as she cant just have what id normally eat

Thanks, omlette is a good idea, think she might like that, and hummous would be nice and quick

I do lunch of veg & protein and tea of sandwiches, rice cakes, bagels. Put humous, tinned tuna/ salmon mixed with natural yoghurt, mashed banana, grated cheese on them. Cut up avacardo, tomatoes, cucumber. Do desert of natural yoghurt & fruit

Today she had half a bagel with Philadelphia and mashed avocado, yesterday she had homemade carrot soup spread on toast fingers, and I also put in on a spoon for her as well.

Otherwise bread and butter fingers with wedges of cheese or Philadelphia, cucumber sticks, tomato wedges, cooked veg sticks, pieces of fruit and a yoghurt.

Those lunches sound delicious and great ideas. My little one is 6months old and has a big appetite. She has tastes of foods for a while now but I am still giving veg and fruit. Am I correct in thinking now she is 6 months she can eat pretty much anything (I've seen the list with foods not to eat eg honey etc). So, can she have rice, pasta, red meat eg could she have a shepherds pie?
I read that they shouldn't have salt but what happens with bread as there will be salt in that and what about the Philadelphia cheese and humous mentioned on here? As they will contain salt too. Rice cakes sound a good idea- do I need special baby ones or can she have a bit of normal adult ones?
Thanks for your help!

re salt i just don't give added salt. so if i am making lasagne etc then i won't add salt to any of it but me and dh will add salt to ours if required once dished up. i personally don't give any specific baby food as i think its too expensive!!
melted cheese on toast is a lunchtime fav here for my 6m ds. sometimes me and dd do a home made veg pizza for lunch as ds absolutely devours this!!

Re naturally salty foods like bread/ cheese/ hummus my understanding is you should be fine as long as you don't give it too often and when you do serve with plenty of fruit/ veg too as that helps with processing the salt.
