Dropping to 3 bottles

Hi
I am due to go back to work in 4 weeks and so will need to amend 7.5 month old ds routine to fit in with this. I also was told it is around now we are supposed to drop a bottle but I have no idea how to do this! Any advice?

This is his current routine

6.30 am - wakes and 7-8 oz bottle
7.30-7.45 breakfast. Good portion of porridge with fruit and some toast fingers
8.30/9 am nap for about an hour
10.30/11 am 6-7 oz bottle (always screams for this)
12-12.30 lunch - either finger foods or half a jars worth of warm food
1 -2.30 nap
2.30-3pm bottle 7-8 oz
5pm tea - half a jar and then yoghurt/fruit
5.45 - bath
6-6.30 bottle 7-9oz
6.30-7pm bedtime

Now I need to amend the tea to about 5.30 as I won't get home until then which I think will be fine as he doesn't scream for tea at the moment. But I just don't know how to drop that 11am bottle. He always wants it and practically drains it. Do I start a snack? I could get nursery to give him breakfast at 8.30 but not sure that would help.

What is your routine?

mine dropped to 4 bottles at 8 months and then to 3 bottles at 9 months. You dont have to change your routine if you are both happy with it.

I'd leave it too if he is happy as he is, especially as you'll be going back to work and he'll have to deal with that change.
