Annabel Karmel portion sizes, is it me or are they very big?

I've been cooking Annabel Karmel recipes for my 9 month old. He seems to like them. I find the portion sizes to be really huge, for example, when she says a recipe makes three portions, I get about six or seven out of it, and even then my DS does not always finish it.

I don't want to get hung up on quantities, and am not about to force my baby to eat more than he wants. However, he has lost a wee bit of weight lately and I am just trying to work out if his appetite is vastly different to that of other babies, and if he is having enough.

I agree with you. I always managed 6 portions when she's said 2 or 3. my dd is 10 months and sometimes leaves some.

I found the same tbh I just froze the rest.

My babies always ate far less than other people's.
