Would you do BLW with reflux and umbilical hernia?

Just that really....is there any reason I shouldn't take the BLW approach with DS who has had bad reflux since birth and also has an umbilical hernia? Any tips or things I might need to adapt given these factors? Thanks

I did BLW with a reflux baby, although she was pretty much controlled on a dairy/soy free diet and ranitidine at that point. Wouldnt have thought the umbilical hernia would make any difference unless there were actual gastrointestinal contents in the hernia (which is pretty unlikely I would have thought!). Even then, unless she gags loads (which my dd didn't tend to do) that wouldn't matter. Good luck and enjoy!
