Was going to quickly steam and puree some spinach for DD2 (7 months old), but do I puree just the spinach or is it best mixed with something else? All I have here before I go shopping is a sweet potato, some new potatoes, oranges, some brocoli some peppers & courgettes.

I think spinach by itself would be a bit strong, Maybe mix with sweet potatoe and brocoli beware of the poo's though

My DD LOVES spinach - it was one of the first things she was weaned on.
I wouldn't be too scared of strong flavours, I think babies can love those too. She's now 15mths and loves olives above all.

Well I tasted it and it's gross but hope she likes it.
I used as much spinach as I could squeeze into steamer so nearly a whole bagand one largish sweet potato.
