DD is 1 year old, can she eat raisins? I am just concerned about the choking risk.

Also can I have some lunch/dinner suggestions (she can't tolerate dairy or wheat) as I am struggling beyond chicken/sweet potato/ cucumber/banana
TIA Smile

Ds was eating raisins from about 8 months with mo problems. He would have to concentrate so much on getting them from table to mouth that it gave me a break to do some jobs and have a coffee :)

Ds eats anything but from the top of my head I would suggest Tomato based curries, lentil stews, risotto, bubble and squeak? I make a batch then freeze portions so I always have a quick meal handy.

I think raisins are fine, I have given them to all of mine from weaning. Warning - they come out the other end whole for a while.

Forgot to add, she won't eat food that has been frozen (grrrr) she will happily eat sweet potato mash plus a second portion I fridge and warm but if I freeze it and defrost she won't touch it :(

I've just introduced my 9mo to raisins and other small dried fruits. Takes him a lovely long time while i drink coffee and mn on my phone

He mostly eats adapted versions of what we eat - tonight was tuna in tomato/veg pasta sauce so while we had it chunky with fusilli, he had baby stars and blended sauce. Last night we had fish and chips, he had de-crumbed fish fingers with a bit of spinach and pureed cauliflower then chips and peas as finger food.

Sardines in tomato sauce, deboned and mashed. Rice cakes and hummus. Mango, pineapple, melon, watermelon chunks. Scrambled egg. Baked beans. Jacket potato, roast potato, oven chips.

Or, just mix everything with sweet potato then gradually reduce the amount of potato until she eats it? Mine is a good eater/bad sleeper but that has worked for friends of mine :)

Stock up on ready made baby food so you don't feel rejected when she refuses your lovingly prepared meals Thanks

She's a great eater, as long as it hasn't been frozen! I just struggle with ideas due to her restrictions and the fact I don't eat a proper lunch

She loves fruit but I didn't think it was substantial enough as a main meal? Can sardines be tinned? She likes fish Smile

Thanks for some good ideas Smile

Yes, i use tinned. Have been known to share a tuna jacket if we're out - a friend of mine is allergic to dairy and does tuna salad cream! Banana soreen is apparently safe for her, too :)

Can she is the Freefrom bread from Sainsburys? Bet she would like tinned sardines on toast. We had gluten and dairy free korma, rice and naan last night care of Sainsburys.
