Hoping for 3 meals before the month is out.

nb im not bothered if he doesnt actually eat the stuff, just want to let him try different flavoures and textures.

pretty much what i did, began with baby porridge then transitioned to ready brek after a few weeks. began lunches with puree carrot, puree sweet potato etc then we started tea with 1 rusk mashed with formula. shes now 13 months and eats like a trooper by herself.

its very exciting, enjoy :)

I wouldn't bother with the baby porridge unless you've already bought it. Its very expensive and there is no need for it as long as Lo is over 6 months.

Also, you can make food with full fat cows milk from 6 months, no need to put formula or ebm in cereal either Smile

I just did one meal a day for a while, there's no need to rush Smile. Have you read How do we get started with solids? And the Mn weaning info?

If you are cooking are you thinking of doing traditional weaning with purses and finger food? Have you thought about letting Lo self feed instead? Have a look here Smile
