Hi,
I know that when you start weaning it's just about trying out new tastes and textures but just wanted to see if anyone has a tried and tested planner for what to give your baby. I have started weaning my 5.5 month old but am a bit clueless really! I have bought annabell karmel but still not sure.

Our post natal group is in the midst of this debate. November 2012 babies if you want to join us.

Alot of us have joined that whatever weaning way of thinking. So just trying stuff out and seeing what LO likes.
I have started with purée a range of foods. New food every day. So far tried carrots, banana, broccoli, sweet potato. Lunch everyday.
Nxt week im going to introduce more then one taste per sitting. To get used to different taste at same time.
When LO is better at picking food up ill give him finger foods.

I have heard alot about that book. N am sure it will be great. Just don't worry about sticking to one plan. Be flexible.

Just one word of warning, it may be a coincidence but all the children I know who were weaned the Annabel Karmel way are fussy eaters. The idea of preparing special meals, just for one person is a bit of a faff too.

Have you read the Mn info on weaning milky?
