I'd double check that one OP, probably on the allergies board.

Thank you, I spoke to a health visitor who suggested trying dairy foods separately, and then if it causes a rash to not try it again for a month!

My ds had this. It turns out he's allergic to dairy (casein) and egg.

Give up giving him any known allergens, including wheat and get to the docs for a prescription of chlorphenamine to keep in case of allergic reactions.

A red rash might look mild to you but can be awfully irritating for a baby. Can trigger excema too.

I'd stop using the wipes first, just use a soft cloth and water. Had a friend who's DS had terrible eczema around his mouth, was under the hospital and it was ages before someone pointed out that it might be the wipes. She stopped using them and he was clear within a week.

I'd also try to keep a food diary over the next week. They are good to take to the GP as evidence smile

My little boy is 6.5 months old, and has been BLW for about 3 weeks. I have noticed that sometimes he gets a red rash/small red patches around his mouth, neck and arms. I thought it was the wipes I use but it's not every time I use them, but I have started to notice it seems to be after dairy but again, not every time. Should I be worried? Any advice? Thanks!
