Recipes for a toothless toddler?!?

DS is big, hungry, and at a year old he is completely toothless! Any good recipes for gummable finger foods that are a bit more nutritious than breadsticks, toast etc? Without wishing to sound all Heston Blumenthal, can anyone point me in the direction of something like a veggie / meat cereal bar that he could gum?

My DDs both managed to eat all sorts of finger foods without any teeth.

How about making fish fingers by coating fish in flour, egg and breadcrumbs or crushed rice krispies. Bake for 10-15 mins.
Homemade meatballs are good.
Slow cooked stew, where the meat is falling apart a bit.
All kinds of pasta. You could slightly overcook it to make it softer.
Roasted root veg or most cooked veg (such as brocolli, carrot, cauli) is OK.
Avocado
Banana

We did BLW so DD's ate normal foods from 6 months. Both only got teeth at 11 months.

Slices of omelette are good and how about savoury muffins too? Agree that they should be able to manage most things without any teeth.

If you need a bit more inspiration, see if your library has got Finger Foods by Jennie Maizels or have a look at the recipes on the blw website Smile
