DD not having bedtime bottle

DD is 9 months old and over the past few days shes been refusing her bedtime bottle.

What does this mean?

Her last bottle before then is about 2:30-3pm. It has made me worry that she'll wake up hungry in the night so ive attempted dream feeding later on but still she wont have it.

Do you think i should reduce the amount of formula in her afternoon bottle or put her to bed later? Ive always had her bedtime set as she gets so grouchy and tired if kept up much longer!

TIA x

I'd say if she's not waking up hungry in the night then she probably doesn't need it at the moment and not to change the routine. She will let you know when / if she does need it again - probably during the next growth spurt!

At her age most babies still feed on demand (i.e. to appetite) and will only generally request or accept food/drink when they need it.

Would she take the milk from a cup?

I havent tried her milk in a cup just yet, was going to try it with one of her daytime feeds soon.

I just find it hard to believe that at 9 months she no longer wants her bedtime drink i suppose to me shes still so tiny lol.

She didnt wake up hungry last night at all after not having any of her bottle.

Well if she doesn't need or want it, there isn't much you can do Smile

I would still try from a cup, just so she has had some fluids tho
