My 11 month old ds was weaned just before 6 months on a mix of finger foods and spoon feeding. he has always loved food and ate no problem but the last couple of weeks he just doesnt seem to want to eat as well. for example this morning he ate half his weetabix (if that) and then just started refusing, if i give him the spoon he throws it on the floor and doesnt even attempt to eat what is on it (he is able to spoon feed himself). he will eat finger foods he knows and loves like cheese on toast and sandwiches but even these he is not finishing when previously he would devour them. he licks fresh fruit and then throws it on the floor, the only thing he eats without a fuss is fromage frais!
i just dont know what to do, i have tried persuading him and tried leaving him to his own devices (by that i mean watching him but pretending i am not taking any notice). He has 2 8 oz bottles a day (morning and night) any advice would be greatly received`

It could be that he feels a little under the weather or he could be testing you. Try not to stress about it too much and look at what he has eaten over a week rather than a day.

What do you do when he throws it on the floor?

Is he teething? My DD seems to regress to wanting BF and purées ( she's always been BLW'd and loves her food!)
After a few days she seems to go back to herself and has a massive appetite!
