Hi all.
DD is 4mo and i get the impression she is ready to start weaning. Looking online for some help and all nhs or govmnt pages say not to do it until 6m and when baby can sit independently.
DD has always been like clockwork with her feeding routine, 210mls four hourly finishing every bottle. As she was finishing them we tried bumping it up to 240mls but she would still only drink 210. Now for the last couple of weeks she is hungry every 2.5-3 hrs and sometimes is drinking only 3 quarters of the bottle, sometimes finishing.
Obviously this is very hard to plan our day around and also is affecting her sleep routine (she doesntyet sleep through).
Can anyone advise on whether she sounds ready to wean and if so HOW THE HELL do i do this? DD is our first and none of my friends have kids so im totally clueless!!!
