Environmentally-dependant weaning

DS (almost 7 months) will hoover up solids at nursery, thankfully, since he's a bottle refuser, to the point where the staff comment at what extraordinary amounts of food he can put away. If we're out in a cafe or restaurant, he'll eat anything, either finger food or off a spoon. At home: total spoon refuser and will gleefully mash up anything given to him with his hands, give something a token nibble or mouth, but mainly hurl it at the dogs and ingest almost nothing.

What is with that? Does he hate my cooking?

All sounds about right to me . He knows there is something better on offer at home and it comes with Mummy cuddles too.
