ideas for tuna

got a tin of tuna and in need of some inspiration for tea for dd (8 1/2 mths) not the whole tin i should add, have got pasta or jacket tattie, have got mayo or tinned tommies
anyone got any good tasty ideas Grin

fishcakes are the sort of thing you could add or take away the irrelevant ingredients if you dont have them, in the case above it doesnt really matter if you dont have spring onions (you could use grated onion) or the parsley

there are loads of tuna recipes on the web, try the bbc food

Or you could just cook the tuna in some butter and a bit olive oil and mix with cooked pasta (add a tiny bit of parsley and lemon juice for older children)

thank you all
found my annable karmel recipe book after a long hunt Grin but need opinions here otherwise I will lie awake all night worrying
did jacket tattie with tuna/sweetcorn/mayo/cheese/milk
she says to scoop out potato from skin mix with the mixture put back in the skin then pop in oven for 10 mins and as i didn't have time I chucked it back in the microwave to heat up and suddenly thought MAYO and will it be ok coz i've heated it, please tell me it will and i've not given dd food poisoning!

as long as it's mayo out of a jar and not "fresh" it will be fine Smile

Make a white sauce (thickish)
Chuck in the tuna and tin of tomatoes (looks a bit vile at first but is ok)

Add some peas and other chopped veggies

Tabasco, salt, pepper

Have with rice

It is deeelicious
