Hiya all,
My Dd (5months) absolutly loves her food, from sweet potato to pears or apples etc.
She has a bottle of milk (9ounces) in the morning, then has porrage. She will then have lunch (savory and desert), then again at about half four. She'll then have a bottle about half 6 before bed. It means she only has about 20ounced from her bottle (she does have more as whenever i blend her food etc, i often had some milk into it). Health visitor isnt too concerned, but what do u all thing?
Thanks

She shouldn't really be dropping feeds just yet. If having the solids is meaning she is then you could adjust either the amount and/or timing. Can you offer her say a small bottle before lunch or nap and continue to use it in her foods too.

I had the very same problem. The best I could do, was sneak as much as I could into foods, especially things like weetabix and things, which it's easy to add it to. She's 2 now, and is a healthy, active little girl.

If you really can't get her to drink more, using the ways suggested, try and introduce more milk into her food. This is included in the total daily amount. No idea if it is still the smae, but I think you are supposed to aim for a pint of milk a day. So make rice puddings, custards, milkshakes, etc with her milk (breast or formula).

Thanks for all the advice, maybe shes just got a good appetite.
we find that during the day she wont even want a bottle even when she starts asking for it 9a in crying for the bottl!), she still wont have it. She always wants to have the solid food.
Maybe we will try adding alot more into her food, at present, we only add in whats needed for the food to be at the consistancy required.
