Possibility of seeing a concert at Wembley Arena - Where to stay??

DH & I are hoping to go to a concert in June, leaving the kids behind .
We hope to make a few days of it in London whilst the oppertunity is there.
Anybody know of any reasonable accommodation to stay at that doesn't cost a fortune?
TIA

I stayed at the ramada ealing when i went to see madonna last year, it wasnt within walking distance but was only a very short taxi ride away.

Friends of ours stayed at the Holiday inn closer to wembley arena but it was a dump.

If my memory serves me well, there's a Premier Lodge just down the road.

Go for the travelodge which is a mile away!

£49 per night.

Then check out and go and stay at the Kew Travelodge which is £26 per night and is really nice.

They are clean and neat and have coffee and tea and TV and are fine!

The Premier Travel Inn is about £60 a night me thinks. We had a mahoosive room and you could watch tv from the bath .....if you like that sort of thing!
