Bump. Can't help you but I was just checking around to see if anyone had posted anything similar to what I was about to.... and here it is.

I'm freaked out that it's word for word what I was going to write. We are also looking for a caravan site in Cornwall/Devon (also open to other places as long as near a beach). We also have 2 boys and want something nice but not to "butlinsy"!!!

Can anyone help Myermay and I?

Ta.

We went to a holiday park at St. Minver and stayed in a "lodge", ie. glorified caravan, which was really quite nice. The evening entertainment was tacky, but it was close to Padstow, Tintagel and a beach (can't remember name) and had a good swimming pool with a slide. I think it was with Park Dean Holidays.

This place is in South Devon, not far from Torquay/Dartmouth - it's on a farm in a beautiful wooded valley - my kids used to love it (it's near where my dad lives)

Cheers. I've looked into those. I especially like Ruda. I'll come back to post what we end up doing!

How about Weymouth?

We stayed at the Waterside Holiday Park last year and had a fantastic time. Its a short walk from the beach and they operate a bus service at regular intervals into Weyouth.

There's everything you could want for kids and adults alike within the complex itself and everything is reasonably priced.
It was spotless too!
