Norwich...one week...no car...PIL...is this pure hot headed foolishness?

ok I either have a 9 hour car journey each way with 2 screaming kids who HATE cars and then shell out for a travelodge in each direction because the alternative is driving into a bollard,

or

first class return. (it works out £13 more than standard class for 2 tickets!)

But I am concerned that a week in norwich with No Car may be inadvisable.

My PIL do actually live in Norwich itself, just about.

We kind of wanted to do the dino world and bressingham though

thoughts, norvicencians?

I don't think the Dinosaur Park or Bressingham are open at this time of year.

I live in Norwich. Don't think Dino Park is open, but plenty of other things are. You've got the beach within 20 mins, also great castle in Norwich - how old are your children?

sorry, my PC just tends to send message before I've finished! Can suggest lots of things locally for you if you want. There are trains in all directions from Norwich - to Sheringham (on the coast) or Great Yarmouth (ditto) as well as Cambridge and London, so you as long as you can get to the station you should be ok. Will keep an eye on this thread in case you need any info.
