Tiny Rant on hotel bookings

I called an 0871 number which I presumed would get me through to a hotel in Glasgow (advertised on their website) ....just to ask for their rates and availability for a family do Im going to in a couple months, at first was surprised the messages and press this press that was in American..when I got through to a human and after the how can I help you, I asked about availability at x hotel for x nights and the woman on the other end said, sorry, where is Glasgow? Wtf?

I had a small go at her (I know it wasnt her fault) as its wasting my time and bloody money for her to look up what bloody country Glasgow was in before she could do anything else...thats the first time thats ever happened to me and Ive stayed in many hotels in Glasgow.....rant over
