Child friendly m-way services, or alternatives... Devon to Wales

Hello,

We are driving from Teignmouth (Devon) to Cardigan (Wales) with a three- and a one-year-old. Can anyone recommend places to stop for a play and a coffee en route?

Also, on a separate trip, we'll be travelling from Teignmouth to Hull, then Hull to Liverpool then Livepool toTeignmouth.

Suggestions welcome. Play areas a big plus.
