Anyone recommend a kid-friendly hotel near York and / or Harrogate?

Looking to stay for 2 nights (midweek) in August. Have 2 DCs, both under six so could do with a suite or interconnecting rooms so we can all get some sleep. Pool would be a bonus and walking distance to eateries, but quiet enough to accommodate early bedtimes.All recommendations greatly appreciated.

Mine are a bit older - 10 and 11 - but we stayed at the Premier Inn - just outside the old city wall - close to the railway station. On a busy road - but very quiet inside. Bonus was there is a restaurant downstairs and kids are free for breakfast.

Not many other eateries close by but not far to walk into town.
