Can anyone recommend a good Chinese in Chinatown that we can book in advance for Saturday night?

tbh most of them are pretty good because they get access to brilliant fresh ingredients every day.
We have family friends who own one, Joy King Lau which is just up the road from the M&M's shop (used to be the swiss center) Chef is ace and of course I am biased!

In my London days, the Joy King Lau was one of my two favourites (and I'm unconnected with the owners!). The other was the New World (opposite the car park) but I've only been there at lunch time for the trolley-borne dim sum.

According to Trip Advisor (of pinch of salt required) Joy King Lau is currently closed...... Any other recommendations?!

I haven't been for a while - and it gets very mixed reviews on Trip Advisor - but one of my favourites is Fung Shing in Lisle Street
