Does it always rain over August bank holiday in Pembrokeshire?

We have a week's camping booked in August and I'm wondering how likely it is we'll get to the beach and if it's worth getting wetsuits for the DC.

Def get wetsuits, they make the difference between a quick frozen dip and an afternoon in the sea. And surfing/body boarding is a great thing to do if it rains. Who cares about rain when you're wet anyway? Where are you going? The hard wear shop in Newport sells second hand kids wetsuits, and you can take them back the year after and part exchange.

We're staying in Cardigan. I'm tempted by wetsuits but not sure if they'll use them again. They are both quite hardy so might go into without them.

Second hand ones are very cheap. Don't know Cardigan so well so couldn't tell you where to go there, but its pretty close to Newport.

We're always down there that weekend (welsh DH who likes to see his mum near his birthday) and most years it's lovely weather. Often sunny and warm whilst rest of UK not so good.

But take wetsuits for the sea and buy a windbreak like we do! It just makes whole experience more pleasant!
NCT sales often have them. You only need shorty ones too.

We'll be down there this year too so fingers crossed.
