Can you suggest a lovely Cornwall hotel?

Due to only being able to get four consecutive days annual leave this summer, I'm thinking of Cornwall rather than wasting half it travelling abroad.

Can anyone suggest a really lovely, luxury hotel in Cornwall? Prob prefer West to be able to visit Porthcurno, Sennen.. but quite flexible.

Budget up to around two hundred a night.

Will be about 6 months pregnant and likely last baby free holiday so adults only, or at least not super family focused a bonus..

Stylish and plush ideally with pool/spa..

Thanks in advance for any help..

The Scarlet Hotel was lovely when we went there a couple of years ago...very expensive but I think they do offers from time to time.

The driftwood is lovely, on the roseland peninsula. Not sure how far to the places you mentioned. I have definitely gone to the places you mention from the boskerris in st Ives but that is boutique rather than luxury

Thank you so much- I will have a look at those suggestions..

I had come across The Scarlet- it looks fab but is pretty dear. However- my argument is we're saving money on flights!!

The Edgcumbe is outstanding, but it's in Bude.

We went to Hotel Tresanton for a long weekend before dd was born. It was bloody lovely, service is amazing, location is beautiful. And you can visit the lighthouse where The Fraggles was set. What more could you want??!

Tresanton without a doubt. We're going to Cornwall this summer and staying at the Fowey Hall, Carlyon Bay and Watergate Bay but all three are very family friendly and I'd recommend somewhere more luxurious and geared towards adults whilst you don't have to consider family friendly-ness. That said, Tresanton is good with children too, and last summer there were a few staying when we were there for lunch (with our girls).
