Can anyone recommend a good Blackpool hotel . Will be dh and I plus dd (8) ds (9m) .

sorry can't recommend a hotel but wanted to warn you that there are a lot of hen and stag do's at the weekends. Last time we went to the lights (quite a while ago) they were all drunk by 7pm and flashing boobs and bums.

The Big Blue Hotel is very nice ( for Blackpool) , we've stayed there several times . Also the one at the football ground looks quite nice.

De vere. It's near the zoo and model village, and out of the town centre. It has a pool as well. More expensive than most blackpool hotels, but the town centre is not great for kids later in the day due to the stag and hen dos. You should be able to get a bus or taxi with relative ease into the town centre.

Yeah I know about the stag and hen party's have been a few times before . It's blackpools biggest downfall .

Just never been able to crack it with accommodation ended up in some right dumps !
