Center parcs and swapping people?

Hi

Just after some advice.

We booked a week in a 3 bedroom lodge at Center Parcs. The other 4 people can only come for the first weekend so we thought we would invite some other friends midweek for a couple of nights.

I have just tried to do the pre registration and called them to be told that they do not allow swapping occupants during the holiday!

This seems pretty unreasonable to me. Does anyone have experience of this or getting round it? We can register the extra car no problems but I'm not sure they would allow a different car in midweek? Alternatively we could go out for the day and pick them up and bring them back? Not sure if they count in and out during the stay or just on arrival day?

I hope someone has some advice? I really don't want to tell our friends they can't come!

Thanks.

Oh, I thought this would be about swinging at centre parcs.
Would be a change from bumsex threads.

Wink

Hi we've been a few times now and they always check who is in the car on the way in. When we have nipped out of the parc during our stay they always checked who was in the car on the way back in against the villa number and registration forms you fill in before you go.Hmm

Did they check how many were in the car on the way out or just on the way in?

At Longleat we've never been checked on the way in after the first day. I've always idly thought you could just keep the stickers for the back of the rearview mirror as your first guests leave - then drive out to meet the new guests to give it to them. There's a car park for the big hill nearby you could meet them at.

But if it's not allowed that's such a shame.

Can you book it separately as a 3 day and 4 day?

Could you just pretend that the people who are swapping over mid week are the same people? Don't tell centre parcs and if anyone asks them they can just give same name? Not sure how you'd work getting another car in. Maybe strange to go out and pick them up?

only way round it is what twin tum says. they dont want you to do it so it wont happen without a lot of faffing and possibly embarassment (on your part when friends cant get in) they are a pain for this sort of thing especially when you look at what they charge and what you get for it.

I would think it would be more likely for them to swap for a smaller lodge and then the other people to all sort out their own lodges

They definitely check the people in the car against the people booked on the way in. We have shared a villa before and we arrived first, so they checked our family off their list and held back a key for the other family.

They knew my children's names and greeted them as we had preregistered.

Also we have had day guest, you have to collect them from the arrivals lodge and you are responsible for them and their behaviour. They also have to sign in and then sign out, clearly they have our villa details so if they hadn't left they would have been knocking on our door!

I think the only way round this (we go to CP every year at least once) is to book a weekend and then a midweek in the same villa. Obviously they only allow changes on Mondays and Fridays.
