Self Catering place for large groups at New Year - South West or Wales

Any recommendations - for a place that can fit about 4-5 families, with around 10 children (all under 6)?

We've found some lovely places but they work out at £90 per family per night at minimum - anyone know of any likely to cost less than that? Maybe that's just the going rate for New Year..

Anywhere in the South West, or Wales (e.g. the Gower).

You can hire whole youth hostels during the winter; basic but cheap, often great locations. www.escape-to.co.uk/

Thanks, will check those out.
Went away recently to a lovely place, for a bargain price. Problem is, we now have high expectations but small budget!

Near-ish to Wales is Craven Arms. We stayed at a massive house there through cottages4you.

I second the youth hostel idea too.

OP am also looking for a place for a large number of people but not YHA (due to people not wanting bunks). Do you mind telling me what the lovely place you went to recently?
