Cottage with kids play area-do they exist?!

We've got a baby and toddler and can't face going abroad at the moment as it's just too stressful with s small baby (we're wimps I know).

I'm not overly keen on caravan parks but would love a self catering cottage/apartment with something to do for the kids like a play area or working farm.

Did Centerparcs last year but fancy something s bit different. Any ideas?

www.helpfulholidays.com/place.asp?placeid=179

This place had a barn with toys and tabletennis table, farm animals and play equipment. And a pool!

Greenwood Grange in Dorset is ok but haven't been there since it expanded.

The Helpful Holidays site has check boxes for stuff like this - or call them, they are indeed very helpful.

We stayed here when DS was 18mths old (DD was 4). It has a big play area and indoor swimming pool plus animals to feed. The place was FANTASTIC!

We haven't been but I think these look lovely - www.featherdown.co.uk/index.html and they're not that expensive even during school holidays. Great for the age of your dc as lots of space and staying on a working farm with your own chicken coop!

We stayed here www.smythenfarmholidaycottages.co.uk/ last summer with our toddler and it was great. They do pony rides, have a little play area and games room and it's quite close to a few attractions such as exmoor zoo, woolacombe etc.

Big fan of the lakes for kids. DS was content to throw stones in water for hours. Coniston is a nice
Place to base yourself.
