Where to live in Cambridge UK?

Hi all,
Just got offered for a postdoc at the University of Cambridge. Me and my wife are planning to move to Cambridge by the end of March 2013. I will be based at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, Wilberforce Road. Our budget is about 1200-1300GBP/m and ideally we would like a two bedrooms house with small garden in the backyard in a nice and quite area not too far from work (max ~20' by bike). Any suggestions? Thanks! M

Try posting on the Cambridge local board and look at rightmove.com.

speak to the college as they will have good landlord recommendations. cycling/public transport is really good in cambridge. suggest also you use google earth to make sure that you are in the right sort of place as cambridge can be pretty congested/noisy student bars. good luck with your new life!
