Too excited for words: new horse arrives tomorrow

Lovely fantastic mare (Nell) arriving tomorrow! Am going to skive off tomorrow afternoon. She's going to be my husband's horse (to look after, and mine to ride)We'll go for lots of lovely rides with DCs, and pub in the village lets horses graze in their field while you have lunch.

I can't wait!

You have just brought back memories of the day my first ever horse arrived. I had wanted one since I was 9 and was now 34 !!!

Me and my two freinds were literally jumping up and down when the lorry finally arrived round the corner. It was the happiest moment of my whole life ever ever (pre kids)

And when the lorry pulled up I stood at the back waiting and everyone was sniggering because I didn`t realise that she would come of the side door it was really really really great.

Good luck tomorrow, I will come on here and want to know all about it.

She's settling in, and seems to be making friends. It's early days so we're going to give her a couple of days to settle down in her field before we do much, then try a short hack on Sunday afternoon. I'll try to take some pictures over the weekend.
