Instructor on my riding lesson yesterday said I had a good seat. I know its a compliment! but can someone break it down for me exactly what that means? She said it after the riding school pony I was on had a tantrum (napping with a couple of bucks) and I was able to push through it and get pony to do as it was told (cantering around the arena on its own away from the other ponies)

To me it means light and balanced with some stickability!

Woo! Really pleased. Had a long break from riding and just getting back into it so knowing I can still do it is brilliant. I always used to be complemented for having light hands so really pleased its still the case. I'm not getting carried away I'm no expert and over confidence is dangerous but really chuffed I can cope with a little bit of naughtiness.
