Aside from preloved, Where do you look for horses advertised?
I can't remember any websites from when i was looking for my last one - I happened across him actually, deflated because of the utter waste of time viewing the day before.

Horsemart.
Horsequest.
Local freeads etc
Tack/feed shop noticeboards.

Can't think of any more. We did answer a few ads and had fruitless journeys that came to nothing, but ended up getting dhorse 15 mins walk from my house due to word of mouth!

Horse deals , h and h classifieds , my farrier is always good for word of mouth . All of mine have come either from the yard I've already been on, or through a friend . I've never actually looked for a horse , they seem to find me . ....

There are lots of groups on Facebook for buying and selling horses. Usually if you type in "horses for sale or loan" and your area you will find the groups.

These are all ringing bells, thankyou ladies!

Last time i bought a horse, i googled something random like 'young horse for sale north west'. Was feeling let down after the previous days viewing - Consisted of being led up what can only be described as a mountain, and then wondering if they'd lured me there to murder me when the person showing me the horses insisted the animal with a massive dong hanging out was a mare - and just happened across the advert for the boy i bought. I do miss him! Brought him home the same day and spent the next week thinking 'shit have the drugs wore off' because i paid £190 for him so i was convinced he must be drugged to be behaving so well.

Not looking for anything specific yet but i'm wanting to have a look what's around, and if the right pony comes up then i definitely might end up with a new family member :)

Groups on facebook are excellent, bought DS his new pony that way. Turned out she was a friend of a friend anyway but lots come up on our local horsey pages, in all price ranges.
Preloved also has quite a lot in our are.
