Anyone else enjoying watching the re-runs on Horse and Country? I'm also guilty of watching Saddle Club.

I keep trying to record it but then I can never be bothered to actually watch, I enjoy the theme tune though! Grin saddle club is hilarious isn't it

Watched loads of Saddleclub as DD was addicted at one point. Probably shouldnt admit this but when ds (17) and I hack out we often reenact particularly hilarious scenes, livens up many a dull hack Grin
horses love chasing each other and pretending to track villains in the woods

Oh god, Saddle Club is dreadful isn't it! I remember one where the girls were going to train a 'mad' horse so it wouldn't get sold. One of them (Carol?) marched to the tack room with a look of defiant determination and rummaged around for some fearsome quick-fix item of tack. "oh no not the martingale" they all cried, horrified at such cruelty. It was all too much for me I'm afraid.

Much prefer Heartland, at least Amy can actually ride really well even if she manages to cure hopeless cases in 30 seconds or so by waving a herb at them (and Ty and Caleb are both gorgeous )

I liked it when Lisa was going to recklessly jump a 1' cross pole and it all went Dramatically Wrong and she tumbled off into the soft sand and somehow nearly died Grin

am v envious of their hacking though

And Carol is the 'best rider' and has to demonstrate 'dressage' to all the other numpties. By dressage read bumbling about on the forehand whilst wearing a smug smile.

Yes lovely scenery. And clean horses being led around in the background in their matching day rugs without lunging violently at the nearest tuft of grass. It does have a certain appeal I have to say!

Oh yes, loved Black Beauty, but unfortunately I'm not keen on the NEW Adventures.
I know what you mean about Dora. I used to absolutely love Follyfoot and never noticed at the time how annoying she was, but having recently seen a few episodes on Youtube I realised she was very whiny!
