We have clipped all the minis going to HOYs but then they have to be clipped all year round to show. Today I had to clip Ds welsh pony she got so hot this week being worked after school and it was a nightmare trying to dry her off for bed!! It seems really early this year. Never really seemed to have very long with a summer coatSad

Mine has to be clipped all year round. He is TB x shire, which seems to mean TB with a shire coat in his case. He is still getting pretty hot though, it was so muggy today! I think they are getting their coats through early this year. My Mum's Welsh Cob is getting quite a coat already, I think she'll have to be clipped before too long. I hope it doesn't mean we are in for a hard winter

Our show pony is being clipped on Wednesday for Hoys. Just can't keep her coat in good enough condition - especially at top of her neck.

The Section B is really furry and sweating around girth after exercise so we'll probably give him a bib clip in the next couple of weeks.

When are you off to HOYs Butkin? I wanted to go on the Wednesday but work and life in general has got in the way. Hope it goes well for you.

We're going on Friday evening to shop and to work the pony in (our slot is 7.20pm). Our class (128SP) is 7am on Saturday morning and we're working in slot is 5am! Strange to think that the highlight of our season - and possibly career - will be over by breakfast! We're going back on Sunday to watch the Show Hunters and have a nice, stress-free day!

That sounds exhausting - good luck, I hope it goes well and you manage to have some fun too!
