Doing E test at riding stables.....PC uniform?

What does DD need to wear - is there a PC shirt? She's got her tie and sweatshirt - is it just a plain white shirt underneath?

She's doing it through the stables and I think she should be doing her D test, but they have said E....given she's been off the leading rein for almost two years it seems a bit basic!

It is basic, but they need to do it and go through each one in order. You can't miss any, sometimes you can do 1 straight after the other.

Yes to PC uniform. Plain white Shirt, tie, cream jods, hacking jacket, clean pony & tack.

Don't do what my DS did and take black hoof oil to pony 5 mins before 1 of his tests & got his jods covered.

Brilliant, thanks Eve. And shall keep her away from hoof oil!

Yes E is the starting point now but very basic and anybody with their own pony (and therefore some experience) should sail through it.

Eve has the gear spot on. We do E tests as part of Mini Camp (for Leading reins and those just off) and then build up the tests in Junior Camp and special PC test days for the more advanced levels.

Hi I know nothing about horses but we are loaning two and have great support at the yard. Two of my girls are wanting to jump at a local show - Crackley - but I have no idea what they need to wear or what I need to do - any suggestions gratefully received.

fingers crossed it will be warm enough for a just a shirt and a tie.

Same as above, cream jods, clean boots & chaps, white shirt, tie and either tweed or hacking jacket. Back protector is a good idea as well. Black/navy hat silk.
