Any ideas on what to do with this pony?

Various health issues that do not affect performance at all if kept out at grass and ridden daily. Have tried loaning twice, both failed due to lack of commitment. Doubt i could sell due to those health issues. Lovely sweet nature, safe, sane, goes to comps and places. I already have another that needs riding daily, a baby, DH, job etc. If i had known about her issues when i bought her then i would not have done, but knowing now the pain she will be in if not managed correctly could not just pass her on without being sure of where she will go. What on earth do i do with her? She would be a teenager's dream - but no one would have her for fear of not being able to sell on.

Can you tell us a bit more about pony? Age? What can she do? Can she jump? What maintenance does she need?

Difficult to say without know what the specific health issues are?

Epsm and a pollen allergy. requires her to live out, be in regular work and take a supplement for the allergy. jumps, hacks, anything you want she will do but if she has two days off in a row or is Stabled then her muscles start to seize when asked to work again. unshod, cheap to keep.

How about see if you can loan her to a riding school?

I was about to suggest a riding school.

That is actually an idea. There is one locally that takes ponies on working livery. Might ask around. worth a try!

Oh yes a riding school is a good idea. I used to teach in a stables and we had several ponies there that were on permanent loan.

Well worth a try, could tick all the boxes and you could keep an eye on her, and you might even find an eventual buyer or permanent loaner through that route
