can't believe I'm still rugging, stopped for a while but weather is so bad again, they are only v lightweight rugs but I think still needed. Going away for two weeks and would love to leave them without so as not to have others faffing about putting them on argghhhhhhhhh, I want summer back

I dont even rug in winter and our nags live out all year round.

I nearly put (no fill) rug on horse today, he is advanced in years after all. But it's not exactly cold is it? Has just been raining and is not hot, also bit annoying when want to ride and they are dripping wet. Wish we had solarium.

I try to keep it to minimum as he is a bit princess and the pea about anything touching his withers.

Don't mind mine being hairy, one is a cob type after all, but it's the skeletal look of the older one am not so keen on!

my daughter's pony is 18, still v fit etc but deserves a bit extra, no excuse for mine tho, gonna get tough I think

lol, yeps we're still rugged.... but rugged with style on frigging box rest, he still needs a fleece on at night!
I've said it before, and i 'll say it again.... Bloody TB pansy! You only have to show him the hose and he shivvers!

All of are showing ones have thick rugs with neck cover on at the moment. They are such wimps and it saves on the clipping for shows etc. My sons pc pony has got a rug on at night but i am trying to get him to put weight back on after being ill
