I have a very pretty 11.2hh reg sec A grey 7yr old mare who is suitable for lead rein/light work only due to a breathing problem which means she does not have alot of stamina but is very healthy in every way.
We have had her for 2 years and she has never put a hoof wrong. She is 100% in traffic, behaved impeccably at a school fete giving pony rides and has been to many local shows gaining rossetts in everything from jumping to gymkhana. Penny is a very sweet pony who comes when she is called in the field, doesn't need hard feed or shoes but would like alot of love.
My vet says the problem with her breathing is due to a very rare condition where one of the muscles in the trachea is to big and so when doing fast work she is unable to get enough air in her lungs for it to be comfortable and my boys are now both off the lead rein and want to go fast and jump big (as boys do!) and so I need a good home for her. I would not allow her to be bred from as I don't know if the condition is genetic. The condition cannot be treated with medication or surgery but will not effect her general health as she ages. I would like her to be kept in in the winter, I love this little pony and I am a bit soft with all our animals, none of them live out!
Please ask me any questions and feel free to come and see her, we are between Cirencester (Gloucestershire) and Swindon (Wiltshire)

Be very careful how you go about this - there are plenty of fab homes I'm sure, but I've heard some real horror stories about loaners/buyers agreeing to lots of conditions and then ignoring them.

Are you a pony club family - if so does your pc have a web site? Try word of mouth locally so that she is more likely to be somewhere you could keep track of her. Another thought is the RDA - is there a group near you who would like her?
