How long do I have to start nqt year after pgce?

I finished pgce in 207 and got knocked up straight away. Support roles and supply ever since.

No limit in England, 5 years in Wales.

You might have reached your supply limit though.

In fact yes, you have reached your supply limit, which was 16 months if you qualified before Sept 2007, 5 years if after. You can no longer do casual supply of less than a term, only jobs that count towards induction, unless working in an academy or free school, who can employ who they like.

I have been doing supply for the past year. They dont pat as much generally if not nqt but I negotiated! [Grin]
