Anyone else got activities week?

Ours is this week. I am in charge though goodness knows how I managed to get myself in that position. Top activities today included archery and (I kid you not) dressmaking. Do you have it at hour school and if so, what goes down well? I think I'm going to end up with it next year too.

A jingle then pitch it. I expect as the week goes in absence will increase as those not going on trips will stay home.

We did...minus the trips...some pupils on timetable for part of the day others doing activities.

Actually turned into Science week...the only department to have any activities organised. The year team organised one activity for 2 year groups.

First time for our school........mixed response from kids and behaviour deteriorated as they are used to lots of structure in lessons that was not there in the activities.

We don't have activities week for those reasons, our kids don't deal well with lack of structure.
It's normal lessons right to the bitter end on Wed pm
