What to do?

This is fairly trivial but I just wanted suggestions.

I applied for a position a couple of months ago but didn't get it. The school have now contacted me asking if I want to be considered for a different position at the school. I have emailed to say yes I am interested and to ask whether I need to submit another application but had no reply.

Would you just apply again (really don't want to do the form again but the position is different and with slightly different requirements), email again, or go in person to ask?

Hello - I had this a couple of years ago. I didn't have to re-apply, they offered me the job outright. I bet that's what they're thinking with you. I'd just give the Head a call.
Congrats!

Thank you Wolfiefan and Catkisser, I hope that is the case but I would be surprised as I wasn't interviewed or observed teaching. Perhaps I will just go in tomorrow to clarify (am really rubbish on the phone in these situations).

Good plan.

A few years ago I came a close second for a job. At the end of that term I had a call from the school saying they'd just had a resignation and offering me a job. I took great delight in telling them that I'd subsequently been offered a new job elsewhere. It was a rather nice feeling to turn them down!
