Since I handed my notice in, Ofsted have been (I was told I was good) and as of yesterday, I have found a new job!

As luck would have it, I'd booked the day off for my interview - and it happened to be when the Big O turned up!

I went along to the interview not really rating my chances - and I got the job!

Much less money, but much less stress.

It is in a school, but not as a teacher (trying not to out myself) - it sounds like my dream job.

Thanks for all the encouragement - I honestly don't think I'd have done it without you lot.

ThanksThanksThanksThanks

I didn't see your other thread but glad that you've found a job you'll love and good positive feedback from Ofsted :)

Congrats - what is the role if not a teacher?

Sounds an ideal job and the type of thing I will look for if/when I return to working in schools. Was it difficult to find? Did you have to attend lots of interviews?

Pleases to hear you are sorted. Everyone I know who has jumped out of teaching has been fixed up with another job within 4/5 months.

It was the first job I applied for, and I can't believe I got it.

The money isn't great, but hopefully I'll have a better quality of life.

Congrats Punygod. Can I ask where the job was advertised? TES? With LA? Etc. I love school life but not being a teacher, so very jealous of your move Smile
