Can anyone recommend the best food for them?

Yes I am getting another Maine Coon (or two if they like me!) I NEED another Coon in my heart, life and lap (apologies to those who feel that cats should only be rescues.. I have had rescues and will no doubt do again, but not this time) and only since being on here have I discovered that my cats have not had the best diet Sad

They always had 'real' food..chicken, fish, prawns etc as well as cat food, but they mostly had felix and Iams occasionally, as Portia likes it,and I didn't realise they were rubbish.

Now Morph has gone, my little Portia is having only 'real' food but realistically I am going to have to get some canned stuff, and want to start the next furbaby on decent stuff.

What is good, and where is best to order from?
I'm going to visit some kittens next friday with a view of them coming to me beginning of September when they will be 13 weeks old

I would only advise not to feed the cheap stuff as most of them barely contain meat.

Can you get a few samples of different kinds of food?

As we know they each have their preferences and delicate little stomachs.

Looking forward to the kitty pics.

Oooh - we're getting a wee coonie at beginning Sept. He'll have to put up with our rescue cat and our dog! I'll be feeding Royal Canin kitten as rescue cat is on Royal Canin cat feed and that's what I fed previous Maine Coon. They seem to do well on it.

Our kitten arrived on Royal Canin, it sometimes gets a bad press especially for dogs, is it any good?
