I want to make sure I have all bases covered and have everything a kitten needs. So far I have all the basics:-

Bed
Food
Litter Tray
Litter
Bowls
Scratching posts & Toys.

What else do I need?

Got litter scoops? And those small white binbags for decanting the used litter into, a bit like nappy bags I think...

Unless you're always able to wash up as you go, get more food bowls! We have about 6/7 and still sometimes run out but we can be lazy with washing up I'd also have some string handy - mine scorned her shop-bought toys for feather dusters, bits of string, hairbands... she'll play with anything but the nice toys we bought her Hmm

When we first got ours, she was so tiny and just wanted to hide away at first, so we got a cardboard box and set up her bed in that so it was like a cat-sized room, so the kitten has somewhere it can hide away and feel safe from its new scary owner until it gets used to you. Saves them from setting up home under your sofa!

Some non-essentials: kitten treats (to coax it out from under your sofa!), wipes (both for the kitten and for any mess), a brush, maybe a mat to put next to the litter tray to help stop litter being flicked miles across the floor, dustpan and brush to brush up said litter, a small spray bottle so you can squirt water to discourage it when it starts scratching things/climbing curtains repeatedly... hope that helps!
